Fundraising Pub Quiz - 18th Feb Central London
Our fundraising for Unicef and SurfAid International continues with this event just after our return. Please help us support these two good causes by entering a team and coming along - we will have plenty of great prizes and will be airing some trip stories and hopefully some of the video footage we have been shooting on route!

On behalf of the London Surf Club and the Sahara Surf team, currently participating in the Plymouth to Dakar Challenge, I would cordially like to invite you to the:
Sahara Surf Charity Pub Quiz!
When: Wednesday 18 February 2009, from 19:30
Where: The Yorkshire Grey, 2 Theobalds Rd , London, WC1X 8PN [map][gmap] (Bus and tube information below)
Who: You! Plus a team of three or four others. Choose your team members wisely…
This will be a chance to raise more valuable funds for UNICEF and Surf Aid International in a competitive atmosphere along with LSC members, supporters, friends and colleagues.
Entry will be £7 on the door and proceeds from the evening will go towards the above charities.
Hot bar food/snacks will be provided during an interval, along with a presentation from the team on their adventure and remote Saharan surf discoveries. (If they get there). (If they get back).
There will also be a number of cracking prizes up for grabs, courtesy of the team and their sponsors.

For those who don’t know, the Sahara Surf team is raising money for UNICEF & Surf Aid International by driving and surfing their way from London to Dakar. Since January 10 they have been on the road for the three week drive from London to Dakar to raise money for UNICEF and Surf Aid International. In addition to taking their low budget vehicles on an epic one-way journey across the desert, the team – all members of the London Surf Club - will go in search of legendary surf breaks along the remote Atlantic coast of West Africa. Keep you eyes on their website for updates.
